 THE STIKINE INN
We have a range of rooms, from single rooms with one queen bed, to full suites with multiple double beds, kitchenettes, and foldaway sofa sleepers. The Stikine Inn is now a 100% non-smoking facility, and do have handicapped-accessible rooms on the first floor. Many of our rooms are newly remodeled, and we have some of the most comfortable mattresses in the state.
As you will see from the photos in our gallery, our single and twin rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. All of our rooms have expanded cable, in-room coffee makers, and clean, well-lit bathrooms. Our suites are even more spacious, and offer kitchens and living rooms.
As you can see, our rooms range from economy in comfort, to suites in true style. As well as the in-room amenities, restaurant, and in-building shops, we offer the best views of any lodging on the island. Our mountainside rooms have a beautiful view of Mt Dewey and our historic United States Post Office building, and our oceanside rooms offer breathtaking views of ocean, mountains, and sea life.
The view from the rooms is a panorama of unspoiled beauty, local culture, and natural landscapes. Between the mountains, the ocean, and the totems on the Post Office lawn, you can get a fair cross-section of local life from your windows.
